MISSION AND VISION
At High Flyers Volleyball Club, our mission is to nurture the spirit of excellence and perseverance within young athletes, fostering a culture of grit and tenacity that transcends the challenges posed by being in a "boy's volleyball desert" in Nebraska. Since our establishment in 2002, we have proudly held the torch as the premier amateur athletic organization for boy's volleyball in the state, relentlessly striving to provide our athletes, many of whom start with little to no beginning experience, with the highest level of training and coaching. With unwavering commitment, our athletes are developed and honed at an astonishing pace, empowering them to compete confidently on the national stage.
Our dedication to success has garnered national recognition, becoming the first boys club in Nebraska to earn an open bid to USAV nationals and achieving our crowning glory in 2022, where we secured the prestigious USAV Boy's Junior National Title in Las Vegas NV - a historic feat as the first team from the state to claim a boy's title. We take immense pride in our tradition of excellence and the transformational power of our coaching, which has led to dozens of college scholarships for our athletes, including placements in DI, II, and NAIA programs. As we continue to pave the way for the future of boy's volleyball, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide athletes with the tools and support needed to reach their fullest potential, both on and off the court.

Head Coach
Jack MacLean
Jack MacLean, son of High Flyers' founders, brings a wealth of volleyball experience. A standout player, he earned recognition as an AAU All-American and USAV All-Tournament Selection during his time playing club for the High Flyers. Jack continued on to play collegiately at McKendree University (DI/II), where he was part of the inaugural team. Since 2012, he's passionately coached all levels, culminating in leading the 2022 High Flyers 18 Red team to clinch our first USAV National Championship title.
Head Coach
Pimmi Philip
Pimmi Philip's depth of experience in athletics enriches every team she coaches. A Bellevue, Nebraska native, she excelled in volleyball, basketball, and track at Bellevue West High School before continuing on to a collegiate volleyball career at Bellevue University. Her coaching journey began at 18, initially on the women’s side gaining experience at programs such as Omaha Bryan and Premier Volleyball, before joining High Flyers to coach men’s in 2020. Notably, Pimmi assisted on the 2022 18 Red team that won the USAV National Title.

Cole Chancellor
Cole Chancellor brings a diverse background to coaching at High Flyers. Cole competed for the club from 2010-2013 as part of a squad that ranked #1 in the nation and finished 5th and 9th in the nation his junior and senior year. Cole also carries degrees in business management, music performance, and music education, giving him a depth of experience in teaching technical skill sets and working with young people. Cole's holistic approach to coaching emphasizes character, confidence, and life preparation.
